Thank you for your interest in being a part of this historic event in Miles Avenue Park. Prior to starting your application, please read the following information carefully.

The festival’s hours of operation and location:

  • Saturday, December 2nd, 2023 from 10:00 A.M. - 7:00 P.M.

  • Sunday, December 3rd, 2023 from 10:00 A.M. - 7:00 P.M.

  • Miles Avenue Park, Indio, California


IN ORDER TO COMPLETE YOUR APPLICATION, YOU WILL NEED TO CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING ITEMS.

  • There will be a non-refundable application fee of $50 per application (All major debit & credit cards accepted).

  • Introducing EARLY BIRD PRICING for those who submit their applications before 09/30/2023.

  • Vendors that have a tamal listed on their menu are eligible for a special vendor space fee, as long as the provide quantities approaching 500 tamales per day.

  • EARLY BIRD booth rental fees for Saturday and Sunday are (Application must be submitted before 09/30/2023):

    • $750 Standard food and beverage vendors

    • $650 non-profit and/or Tamal vendors

  • Standard booth rental fees for Saturday and Sunday are (Application submitted after 09/30/2023):

    • $850 Standard food and beverage vendors

    • $750 non-profit and/or Tamal vendors

  • This year we are introducing a new program for vendors who wish to improve their performance at this year's Tamale Fest.

    Premium Vendors will enjoy elevated features such as high-traffic areas with ample seating & shade, corner placements, proximity to entertainment & activity areas and additional media & promotion.

  • All vendors are required to accept VISA & MASTERCARD in addition to cash at each Point of Sale. You may use festival-provided POS systems for a fee.

  • Vendor insurance will be required. It can be secured at a flat rate of $65/booth if needed. Please be sure to indicate this in the intake form where applicable.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • Food vendor booths will be a standard of 10ft wide x 15ft deep.

  • (1) hookup for 20amp/110v power will be provided free of charge, any additional power needs will be an additional fee.

  • You will be required to provide a CA seller’s permit number.

  • You will need to define your number of staff, as well as your vehicle requirements for load-in & load-out.

  • Also consider your menu offerings for a streamlined and fast-paced service environment.
